posted Apr 12, 2011 9:19 AM by Alan Kalitzky   [ updated Apr 12, 2011 9:23 AM ]

We met at the DuPage Convalescence Center.

Please welcome the latest new Knight Joseph Kadolph, Winfield, IL.

The Lenten Fish Fry’s have been very well attended and many thanks to all that have volunteered their time. The goal this year was to server average of 200

meals per event and we are well past that goal.  Last Friday we served 234.  Congrats to all.

The next and last Fish Fry will be this Friday.  Hope you can all make it.  Let make this one the best ever.  Bill Brach will be arriving back here from Florida and

    plans to attend.

May will be a busy month with at least 3 pig roasts to work, Flag Day ceremony, and the Blood Drive.

May 7, Pig Roast (see Sean)

May 9 Blood Drive 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm in Sebahar Hall (see Jim Rieck)

May 21 Pig Roast (tentative see Bill Brach)

May 28 Pig Roast (see Sean)

   May 30th Memorial Day

May 31 Flag Day Ceremony (see Jim Marino)

June 11 Pig Roast (see Sean)

Jack Kozak reported that he has frozen inventory left over from the Pancakes breakfasts.  It was decided to use it up on special events in 2011.

The revised Treasurers Report was given.  We are meeting all our obligations and in very good financial condition.

There still more than 40 Knights that have not paid their dues.  Final notice letters will go out this month.

   See you on Friday.

The first weekend in August

posted Aug 6, 2010 2:15 PM by Robert Petitti

We just had a great Bingo nite at the DuPage Convalescent Center. Brothers Jim Marino, Robert Petitti, Sean Connelly, Rich Kamphaus, John Burke, Grand Knight Bill Brach all had a splendid time. But look at the pictures on the Knightly Images. They show the joy and happines we brought to the great crowd at the DCCC! These people had real fun. In fact, the Knights had to chip in some extra money for the winners!!!! This is what being a Knight is all about.

The Valentines Day Dance seems to have been a great success! Dancing, snacking and wonderful pictures of couples were made. The Lady Knights should be commended for putting together for putting together a great romantic scene in Sebadar Hall. Libations were handed out and mixed by the masters of mixology : Sean Conley, Rich Kamphaus, and Skip Meyer. Music provided by the Loni Howard had many couples on the floor till the end of the evening. And how many calories were eaten last night? The chocolate fountain and strawberies, cupcakes, a bunch of delightful dips, cheeses and chocolate morsels. YUM.

Congratulations to the Lady Knights!!
